Just what the world needs, one more pushy New Yorker

Here's what someone had to say about a brush with a certain famous writer while at the M.I.A. concert in Central Park on Sunday:

So who's BEHIND me in the VIP (yaa, I'm cool) line at the show: Salman Facking Rushdie with the goddess of prosperity and his son. It's not enuff he got her, but homeslice totally cuts in front of me. Bitch, no wonder there's a fatwa against you..

Ideamani, he pops up all over he place. His wedding took place here a while back. He's doing some NYT book event in another month or so. Don't know who's paying for the security.

arZan, I'm always interested by who guys find attractive. Padma Laxmi to me looks pretty, but nothing to go into spasms over. For example, I think Priyanka Chopra is more beautiful.

And to me, Bipasha Basu just looks really rough and, forgive me Bips, rather slutty. Not in the I-love-men-and-have-known-a-few kind of way, but more in the you-wouldn't- want-to-get-too-close-to-her- unless-you-were-wearing-two- condoms kind of way.

But I realize from the male p-o-v these may be positives. And these are just my perceptions of the on screen image of her...

Which reminds me of Entourage this past Sunday. I loved Ari's line after Mandy Moore agent says "Look, we all know Vince has slept with half the actresses in Hollywood" and Vince's friend and manager says "I'm not gonna sit here and listen to you attack Vince's personal life" to which Ari retorts "What? I thought that was a compliment!"
